As
we take this journey of initiation through the temples, our ceremonies
and meditations will be focussed both on re-activating the living presence
of the temples and on re-awakening the inner Richard Waterborn, healer and metaphysical teacher for over the past twenty years, will be sharing his knowledge of Egyptian cosmology and sacred science as well as facilitating meditations and group sharing. This will be his 8th trip to Egypt as guide on the sacred journey. His partner, Claudia Connelly will also be returning to Egypt on this journey and will be available for a limited number of psychic/tarot readings over the 13-day period.. : Journey Itinerary: This itinerary is designed to maximise our time spent in the temples and sacred sites under the best possible conditions. (Note: Egypt can be unpredictable and last minute changes may be necessary.) Hotels and cruise boat are 5-star standard. Day
1 (Thursday Jan 14th): Depart country of origin.
Arrive in Cairo airport. Transfer to Le
Meridian Hotel Helopolis .
Day 3 (Saturday Jan 16th): In the morning we will start at the Valley of the Kings, visiting pharonic tombs to explore their magnificent decoration including scenes from the Book of the Dead'--the Egyptian guide to the dwaat or underworld. Later, we will meditate in one of the less visited tombs nearby. Time permitting we will vist the Artisan's Tomb to see the incredible paintings inside, still as vivid as the day they were created. Then on to the majestic Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. After lunch we visit the Ramses III Temple at Medinet Habu. After a visit to the Shrine of the Primeval Mound' (symbolic origin of the earth and a powerful vortex), we finish our day's tour at the Ramesseum on whose ceiling can be seen astronomical references to a supernova event.
Day 4 (Sunday Jan 17th): Travel via road to Abydos to visit the beautiful Temple of Seti 1st and the ancient Osirion. Little visited by tourists, the Seti I Temple is the best preserved pharonic temple in Egypt with many of the painted wall freizes still retaining their original colour . Entering its hallowed precincts one is transported back to the time of Seti himself, a time vividly recalled by Dorothy Eadie in the book, I remember Om Sety. High up on one of the pylons is the enigmatic future' frieze depicting a helicopter and modern war machinery. Behind is the Osirian, reputed site of the mystery school of Osiris ;still powerfully atmospheric, and ,visible on one of its massive granite pillars, the Flower of Life design, the metaphysical blueprint of creation. Returning towards Luxor, we arrive at Denderah to visit the Hathor Temple, with its haunting atmosphere, beautiful statues of the Goddess, Zodiac Ceiling and mysterious crypt. In this very feminine temple our ceremony will be focussed on the female Goddess aspect of the cosmic activation. NB Guardians use of a private security convoy means we will have these magnificent temples virtually to ourselves for extended ceremony & meditation. Return to Sonesta St. George Hotel.
Day 8 (Thursday Jan 21st): We arise early in the morning to take a voyage via motor boat across Lake Nasser to visit the Isis Temple on the tiny Island of Philae. Surrounded by water this magnificent temple is a fitting setting for further invocation of the Divine Feminine. In the afternoon we take a relaxing sail across the Nile in a felucca (local sail boat) to Elephantine Island to visit the Temple of Knum. It is said to have been a hiding place of the Ark of the Covenant on its journey south after the overthrow of the temple in Jerusalem. It also contains a tree of life-a multidimensional portal.
Day 9 (Friday Jan 21st): Early morning flight to Abu Simbel to visit the temples of Ramses and Nefertari. Originally a very ancient cave temple with solar alignments, these temples were moved in the 1960s to escape flooding by the Aswan dam. However they retain much of their earlier power & atmosphere. PM fly to Cairo, check into The Meridian Pyramid Hotel, near the Great Pyramid.
Day 10 (Saturday Jan 22nd): This is the climax of our journey of initiation as we vist the Giza Plateau. During private time in the Great Pyramid we will conduct an initiation ceremony in the King's Chamber' using sound to activate the ascension harmonics of this incredible portal to higher consciousness. During the ceremony you will have the opportunity to enter and spend time in the Sarcophagus, focal point of the chamber. We will also visit the Pit Chamber' for another powerful initiation. Carved in the bedrock deep below the pyramid, this was the original "seed" of the pyramid, a portal to the inner earth and the Halls of Amenti. From the Great Pyramid we will go directly to the Sphinx for a private meditation between the paws, site of the Hall of Records. After lunch in front of the Sphinx, we take a trip into the desert via your choice of camel or horseback. Stopping at the Holy Cross Temple, north pole of the Christ Consciousness Grid, we will experience a further meditation and activation.
Day 11 (Sunday Jan 23rd): We conclude the initiatory part of our journey with a trip to the Temple Complex of Saqqara, site of the step pyramid and earliest known mystery school founded by King Zoser. Our entry to the temple will trace the initiates' path walked by the ancient Egyptian neophytes and will be followed by a powerful ceremony in the inner precinct. We will also visit the nearby Pyramid of Teti to view the original Pyramid Texts carved on the inner walls. Nearby, the tombs of Teti's contemporary courtiers give a marvellous glimpse into the ancient Egyptian world with their exquisite carvings of daily life and activities. After lunch at a local retaurant we will visit what is left of the very ancient and mystical capital of Memphis to view, among other things, a partially excavated Hathor Temple.
Day 12 (Monday Jan 24th): Morning visit to the impressive Cairo Museum. PM optional visit to famous el Kalili Bazaar and or citadel and mosque.
