CROP
CIRCLES
Adventures
in the Fields!
Its been an interesting summer; aside from a few weeks of much needed
R&R after an intensive work schedule, I became very involved with
what was happening in the crop circles in southern England. Whilst every
year sees a large number of circles magically & mysteriously appear
during the summer, 2009 was quite exceptional for both the early start
(April) and the sheer number and frequency of new formations- sometimes
as many as 3 on the same night. Another noticeable feature was the number
of formations conveying specific information in one form or another.
From a personal point of view it was very exciting, as the "language"
in which the information was "written" was, in many cases,
that of the sacred geometry & sacred science which I have been researching
and teaching for many years. I had the strong feeling that, whoever
or whatever the circle-makers are, they were speaking my language! I
had already been invited to give a presentation on the subject to the
annual crop-circle lectures in August, however, the sense of personal
involvement grew when, out of the blue, I was contacted by a film production
company inviting me to contribute to making a documentary programme
about the crop-circles they were filming for National Geographic . Just
before I was due to fly over I received news of another fresh formation.
When I opened the weblink to view the aerial photo, I was absolutely
gobsmacked; there on the screen was an enormous, beautifully executed
image of the phoenix- the sacred bird of ancient Egypt. According to
legend, the phoenix returns to its birthplace at the end of a great
cycle of time, builds a funeral pyre and cremates itself. It then arises
reborn from the ashes, signifying the dawn of the new world, or civilisation.
Looking more closely I noticed what were clearly flames, expertly crafted
around the tail feathers of the bird. At this point I became convinced
that something entirely unique and portentous was occurring, even by
the extraordinary standards of the crop circles themselves.
I spent a fascinating weekend exploring the circles with the film-crew,
including witnessing at first-hand the electro-magnetic anomalies which
are often associated with them. As we were about to enter the formation-
a beautiful image of the Seed of Life- the camera and sound recording
equipment malfunctioned. We had no sound recording. The cameraman was
utterly baffled; he had been working with the same camera for 10 years
without a hitch, and couldn't figure out what had happened. It took
an hour of frantic phone-calls to the technical department and a complete
re-boot of all the equipment to rectify the problem!
The next day I visited a recently appeared formation dubbed "the
sunspot" which closely resembles the enormous dark spots which
appear on the surface of the sun and are associated with its cyclical
magnetic field. I had arranged to visit it with my long-standing friend,
Peter Taylor, a scientist and shaman, who had just published a book
on climate change. Over the past few years we have been in a dialogue
about the role of the Sun and its magnetic field in the climatic &
other changes on the Earth, so I was excited to be sharing the occasion
with him. Actually, we never got there! In the local bookshop where
all the up-dated sightings of crop circles are posted on a map of the
area, I was approached by a very excited lady and told that a brand
new formation had just been reported, close to the "sunspot".
We headed off immediately to see it. As it had only appeared an hour
or two earlier, we were among the first people to enter the circle which
was enormous, and literally crackling with energy. Not having seen an
aerial photograph it was hard to grasp the overall plan and imagery,
other than some intricate geometrical decoration around the perimeter.
I overheard a group of people talking to each other in spanish, so greeted
them and asked them what they knew. They told me it appeared to be a
Mayan face. When I asked them where they came from, it turned out they
were from Mexico, and were students of Mayan cosmology! As we talked,
their guide approached me and shared that late on the previous night
he was looking out in the direction of the field we were standing in,
and had seen silver balls of light hovering over it. These balls of
light are a hallmark of crop circles, and have actually been captured
on film forming the circles in an amazing, virtually instantaneous fashion.

I didn't have too much time to explore so, rather than walking every
inch of the formation (which was over 50 metres across) and attempting
to decipher it, I found a secluded spot in a small circle of laid crop,
and sat down. From a deep meditative space I asked to be shown whatever
the circle represented. Within seconds a clear image had formed itself
on the "screen" of my mind. To my amazement I recognized it
as the stylized face of Quetzalcoatl which forms the centre of the Sun
calendar of the Mexhica (an ancient people closely related to the Maya,
and with a similar knowledge of cosmic cycles) I had become very familiar
with the face and calendar 10 years earlier when it formed the centre-piece
of a summer course I had given to mark the date 13 Cane- another very
significant date associated with predictions of major transformation-
which had coincided with the solar eclipse of august 1999.

I then asked to be shown what the circle meant, why had it appeared
here, at this time. The vision which followed had an unmistakeable prophetic
content, and was so powerful it left me profoundly moved and shaken.
I am not accustomed to channelling prophetic visions and, to be truthful,
adopt a healthy scepticism to those of others until I am convinced of
their authenticity, so I was thrown into something of a quandary by
the experience. However, after a period of deliberation, I have decided
to share this vision- initially through the medium of a workshop (see
details below). Later, when I was able to view an aerial photo of the
formation, the face was exactly as I had seen it in the vision. Moreover,
I was able to identify the spot in which I had sat to "tune in".
It was the left eye!
When I returned to Wiltshire at the beginning of August for the conference
I had the opportunity to explore the "Mayan face" & "sunspot"
circles in more depth and discovered some very interesting alignments
and other details which I believe are significant in understanding what
is unfolding on the Earth. This too I will be sharing when I have fully
researched it. Overall, my summer wanderings in the fields of England
have reaffirmed my conviction that we are in the midst of a time of
profound transformation and have given me some pointers as to how these
changes are unfolding. I am more than ever convinced that the crop-circles-
or more precisely the intelligent consciousness which is using the crop
formations to communicate with us, is an integral part of the transformation.
To find myself in the midst of this communication, and to feel at times
that I was personally involved in it, has been an exhilerating and inspiring
experience.
